Leaving home for home.

The coming one and a half month I will be in Tiruvannamalai, India (!ndia).
The first two weeks I’ll participate in a retreat with Swami Suddhananda in his ashram.

Schiphol, Tuesday, December 16, 06.00 hours.

So, here we are, checked in, having a espresso at Starbucks. Just bought a notebook,
paper version, for Euro 1,50, possibly the cheapest item available on the airport.
It dawned on me to just write the texts that I can see from here: whiskey & cigars / Embrace your gold life / Holland Gifts / Business Fashion / Ralph Lauren / Lounge 1 / Diamonds / Open your platinum world / Let’s gather with good friends / See, Buy, Fly / Xmas offer, 2 for Euro 48 / Gingerbread Latte / Cranberry White Mocha / Toffee Nut Latte / Your Christmas favourites are back / Starbucks Coffee / Van Gelderen Airport Services Tel: 0235551588 / Help us to recycle / Bagage Lockers, Toilets, Baby Care / Newspapers and magazines / Libelle Margreit Kerst / News and Books / Chanel no 5 /
100 % Arabica coffee beans / First Aid Eerste Hulp / Airline Lounges 25 – 52 By invitation only / Smoking area Rookruimte / Liquor Tobacco Perfumes / Bols Corenwyn & Herring a perfect combination.
In one look around I can see almost twenty fully pimped Christmas trees and a abundance of golden glitter bombs clustered on the ceiling.

In one and a half hour the retreat with Swami Suddhananda will start.
Never seen the man before, never read a word by him and here I am.
At the other side of the road, on the ashram terrain they are building almost a small street with new housing for visitors. At the building site is a intriguing text by Swami Suddhananda, that I will try to get in digital form. When that works out I will post it here.

Am writing this from the Suddhananda Ashram shop, where three pc’s provide internet connection for those visitors without a laptop/notebook/Ipad of their own.
Outside it is raining pets, mainly cats and dogs.
