Back home after 100 days in the land of the innocent swastika

Part of the culture shock that I went through when I visited India for the first time, now almost 40 years ago, was to find a row of swastikas and Stars of David  as decoration on a cornice of a house in Almora.

The joyous use of the swastika over there has become intriguing to me.
